Empire Electrical Services is a vibrant, exciting and growing company who currently have a strong influence and presence in the events Industry.
We are looking for an events Technician who is motivated, self-managing, team player, punctual, reliable and relatively flexible regarding working hours for weekend and public holidays.
The Role:
- Installing event equipment and resources on site
- Working different sites for different events
- Providing events with all electrical & lighting requirements
- Ensuring safety for staff, vendors and clients for entirety of event
- Communicate & liaise with events team to meet client demands and achieve a successful outcome
- Deliver quality service, high level communication and follow Project Manager instructions
- Possess an excellent work ethic and a passion for the events industry
- Be comfortable working in a team environment
- Ability to adapt to the Events schedule, weekends required.
Skills, Experience and personal characteristics
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Full driver's license/ Ability to actually drive
- Ability to lift & move 25kg equipment
- Events and entertainment industry experience is preferable but not necessary
- The ability to Learn
- A "can-do" attitude and willingness to complete the job at hand
Core competencies:
- Experience & knowledge of event management & production services
- Experience with scissor lifts, boom lifts & forklifts
- Strong communication skills and great comprehension
- Ability to own all parts of your role
