Who are we?

We are a Multicultural Centre which takes pride in the numerous cultures that we nurture which is reflected in every aspect of our programme including the food we serve to the children. The children and their families share warm interactions with the cook. We have been awarded the Healthy Heart Gold award earlier this year for our outstanding menu and focus on keeping children healthy and active

At Lollipops Auckland Central, our children are happy, healthy, growing individuals. The Centre kitchen is the hub for all things yummy and nutritious & as our Centre Cook you will play a pivotal part in ensuring children are eating well and creating positive relationships with food.

What your day with us will look like:

- Preparation of meals for the children in line with the menu plan
- Purchasing appropriate ingredients while ensuring enough stock is on hand as required
- Ensuring meals are served in a hygienic and attractive manner
- Cleaning the meal tables, chairs, and floors after mealtimes, housekeeping
- Maintaining positive interactions with staff, children and families at all times, spend time on the floor.
