**About the role**
We are a reputable private practice located in Auckland CBD, seeking a savvy and reliable Legal Secretary to support the team on a short term basis. Join a small but busy team and work in a modern shared office space.
This role will be supporting one senior barrister and one solicitor over a 4 week holiday cover. Previous legal exposure highly preferred but we will also consider PA/EAs who have professional services experience.
- CBD Location - Easy public transport commutes
- $45-50PH pending experience
- Mid July start on a 4 week contract
- 4 days per week - 8:30AM - 1PM to make those after school pick ups
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide administrative support to a barrister and solicitor.
- Prepare documentation, correspondence, sending letters and service documents.
- Maintain tidy client files, hand written amendments and printed communications.
- Handle general ad hoc administrative tasks (data entry, dictation, inbound calls)
**Requirements**:
- Previous Legal Secretary or similar administrative experience preferred.
- Thrives on being detail oriented at a fast pace
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
