**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

We have an important role in supporting the Crown in its relationships with Māori under Te Tiriti o Waitangi | The Treaty of Waitangi. The government is committed to improving services and outcomes for Māori and strengthening the Crown's relationships with Māori.

We are responsible for designing community-based systems of care, agreeing health and wellbeing plans, executing those plans, and monitoring outcomes which then feed into the design process. We work in partnership with our Te Whatu Ora and Te Aka Whai Ora colleagues to shape system-wide public health services across the motu.

The purpose of the Team Administrator role is to provide day to day administration support to ensure the Office of the Wayfinder team's work is delivered on time and to a high
- quality standard. The area this team services includes Waikato, Lakes, Bay of Plenty, Tairāwhiti and Taranaki.

**Ngā pūkenga me ngā weako | Skills and experience**
- Previous experience as a Team Administrator/Coordinator, or in an administration position
- Advanced skills in the MS Office Suite.
- Excellent organisational skills along with the ability to think ahead, use initiative, establish priorities, and meet deadlines whilst preserving the highest levels of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills and the capacity to manage relationships at all levels, including with senior Ministry officials and with health sector leaders.
- Experience with calendar management and meeting coordination and arrangements.
- Experience with secretariat duties, including meeting minute taking and collation of minutes.
- Experience with financial administration such as processing invoices, reconciling payments and financial reporting as required.
- Experience with making travel arrangements and booking accommodation.
- Able to proactively identify continuous improvement opportunities in systems and process to improve efficiencies.
