Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity The Manager Regulatory Monitoring & Evaluation will take a strategic and future focused systems view of the land transport system to focus on risks, harm and outcomes and incorporating good regulatory decision making.
Within this role you will manage a team of experts, tasked with monitoring and reporting on our regulatory performance, enabling our governance bodies to be successful in their roles, alongside undertaking objective reviews of our regulatory system, identifying both strengths and weaknesses and making recommendations on where we need to improve, as well as supporting the Director of Land Transport's monitoring programme.
We are looking for someone who has excellent interpersonal skills; a seasoned leader, expert at building and maintaining high performing teams. You will be able to demonstrate experience across monitoring, evaluation and quality assurance lens.
Along with the key technical skills you would possess strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management ability enabling the navigation at a senior level across large, complex environments.

**The following would also be an advantage**:

- A relevant qualification
- Knowledge of the land transport system and/or regulation

You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector. View the position description'here.
