**Kitchen Assistant**

An exciting opportunity is available to join Wanaka’s longest standing food truck. Based in central Wanaka in a beautiful outdoor garden setting with amazing views

The successful applicant will have a positive attitude and be motivated to work in a fun and fast paced environment. Shifts are a mix of days, nights, weekends, and public holidays. Currently we are closed on Sunday and Monday but this may change as the team grows.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Prepping fresh food daily in a timely manner
- Cooking food during lunch/dinner shifts
- Stock rotation and maintaining a clean working environment
- Ordering and stock take
- Maintain health and safety standards and records

**You will have**:

- Previous cooking experience is helpful but not essential as all the training will be provided
- A hard working attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast paced kitchen with a small close knit team
- Passion for food trucks and what we do
- Valid NZ working rights
- Be living in the Wanaka area or be willing to relocate

**Salary**: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
