Senior Commercial Broker

**What you'll do**:
As a Senior Commercial Broker at ICIB Brokerweb, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing a diverse portfolio of commercial clients, understanding their unique insurance needs, and providing them with tailored solutions. You will conduct comprehensive risk assessments, negotiate favourable policy terms with underwriters, and stay abreast of industry trends to provide proactive advice. Your excellent communication skills will be key in presenting insurance proposals and addressing client inquiries. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior brokers, sharing your knowledge and best practices.
- Actively manage a portfolio of commercial clients, assessing their insurance needs and developing tailored insurance programs.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for clients, identifying potential risks and recommending appropriate coverage options.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate favourable terms and conditions for insurance policies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, changes in regulations, and emerging risks, providing proactive advice to clients.
- Prospect for new business opportunities, identify potential clients, and develop strategies to expand the company's client base.
- Prepare and present insurance proposals to clients, effectively communicating the benefits and coverage details.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate processing of policies, claims, and other related documentation.
- Maintain accurate client records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior brokers.

**What you bring**:

- Hold a FS Level 5 qualification
- 10-15 years of experience as a Commercial Broker in a senior or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, underwriting principles, and risk management practices.
- Proven track record of successfully managing a portfolio of commercial clients and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure favourable terms for insurance policies.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- In-depth understanding of industry regulations, compliance standards, and emerging market trends.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using insurance brokerage software and CRM systems.
