Job Description**
Hours of work**:

- 7:30am - 4:00pm

**About the Role**:
Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Production Supervisor with the day-to-day running of the department by ensuring all machines and ancillary equipment are set up and operated in a safe, efficient manner while achieving required quality standards and production outputs.
**Your main duties and responsibilities will include**:

- Responsibility for setting the tools & equipment in the designated production area.
- Excellent Housekeeping
- Health and Safety
- Ensure product quality levels are maintained
- Actively drive improvements in Department Productivity
- Ensure efficient running of machines and optimisation of tooling
**We’re looking for**:

- Plastics manufacturing experience in the technical and food packaging products field.
- 5 years experience in the plastics moulding field.
- Computer literate
- Ability to use measuring equipment
- Ability to read technical drawings
- A well-organized and disciplined approach to work
- A great attitude - Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and autonomously
- Health & Safety awareness
