About the role
As the Strategy Manager you will help NZSIS set a direction for enhancing its impact on New Zealand's national security through the services it delivers.

**Specifically you will be responsible for**:

- Leading development of strategy and meaningful organisational performance and impact measures
- Enabling actionable insights about current and future organisational capabilities
- Contributing to organisational and wider system planning, reporting and governance arrangements
- Partnering with GCSB colleagues to complement capabilities and align strategy effort to maximum effect for both agencies

You will have proven people leadership experience and will bring:

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish a broad network of collaborative relationships
- Exceptional communication skills, able to present complex information in a simple way that engages a range of audiences
- The ability to provide clarity that helps others manage ambiguity
- Big picture, system thinking coupled with pragmatism and a focus on results
