**The Role**
Reporting to the Delivery Manager, Reactive Resourcing as a Faultperson you will carry out repairs and HV switching on the electricity distribution network, test, and earth equipment.
- You’ll be responsible for:
- Providing services for faults, investigate, isolate, and restore power
- Identifying faults on electricity supply lines
- Analysing the cause of faults
- Repair Or recommend remedial work
- Documenting faults and testing
- Be mindful, be present, be safe for yourself, workmates, customers, the public, networks, and the environment. Continuously assess situations for the safety of yourself and your team members achieving 100% compliance with HSQE requirements according Northpower’s, Network owner’s and client’s industry standards

We are looking for someone who treats safety as a priority and has great team ethics. You will be on a 12hr shift and be willing to be part of our faults standby roster which includes evenings and weekends.

**About you**
We’re looking for an experienced Faultperson with a strong safety record. You’ll be working on a variety of exciting projects and may have to do 12 hrs rostered shift, callouts, and weekend work. You will be comfortable working alone out in the field and be a part of team.
- To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
- NZ Distribution Line Mechanic/Electrician qualification with a current NZ EWRB Practicing licence
- Solid experience as a Line Mechanic/Electrician or have minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Line Mechanic/Electrician
- A full, clean Class 1 NZ driver’s licence (essential) and Truck Driver Licence/ Class 2 or 4 will be an advantage
- A great work attitude and willingness to be part of a diverse team along with a strong focus to health & safety
- Effective communication skills and ability to work under minimum supervision
