As a Mail and Customer Service officer your role is critical to customer experience by providing an outstanding level of customer service.
The purpose of this role is to provide an outstanding level of customer service and outcomes for customers. You will deal with inquiries and requests for products and services in the three following areas:

- Public counter services
- Complaints and inquiries
- Box lobby services

The role will require you to work across those three areas but also to liaise regularly with other key areas within the business such as Fleet and Processing. In addition you will carry out administrative support work associated with these areas of service.

**In this dynamic job you will**:

- Dispatch correctly to our customers to ensure they can deliver on time
- Handle freight in a careful and professional manner
- Liaise with various internal contacts to solve problems and raise issues where required

**To be successful in this role you will need to**:

- Able to problem solve
- Be ready for a physically demanding role and can comfortably lift up to 25kgs
- Be a committed teammate who puts customers first
- Enjoy working hard and be confident managing your time
- Have an accurate eye for detail
- Have good geographical knowledge of the Wellington region
- Have a valid New Zealand restricted or full drivers license
