PHD Group in New Zealand is made up of several agencies specialising in offline and online media, Search, Programmatic, Data Analytics, PR, Content, Activation and Social Media. We don't book ad space or create Facebook posts. We merge the latest technologies, world-class strategy, marketing data, and knowledge of human decision making with planning and buying expertise to deliver best in class communications solutions for our clients.
We are a part of Global Marketing Company Omnicom Media Group (OMG) and encompass three integrated communications agencies covering media, digital, PR, social media, content and activation.
**Position**: SEM Specialist
Job Summary
Manages SEM campaigns from concept to launch, and ongoing optimisation. Continually optimises client campaigns in order to achieve the best results. Responsible for monthly and post-analysis client reporting and providing actionable insights. Works with SEM Manager and SEM Director to manage workflow and help with client strategies.
**Salary**: $60,000 - $65,000 per annum depending on experience
**Positions**: 1
**Hours**: Full Time position - 37.5 Per Week
**Location**: Auckland, NZ
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Makes recommendations based on a thorough understanding of client's business and category
- Is seen as an important stakeholder in digital discussions and understands the client's market sector and business objectives
- Provides planning input into cross team campaigns and decision making
- Set up SEM accounts; carry out keyword research, create campaign and ad group structures
- Competently managing SEM campaigns and adhering to deadlines and meeting requirements of approved strategy & budgets.
- Collaborative work across agency and clients teams, working towards client expectations and timelines
- Implementation of SEM campaigns per brief and budget
- Monitoring of account performance identifying areas to improve performance
- Delivery of plans within agreed timeframes
- Building and retaining strong relationships with client teams and external contacts/service providers
- Quality control of the output of your delivery of work.
**Experience/skills required**:
- Min 1 years' experience of hands-on SEM campaigns either in-house or for an agency
- Understanding of the challenges of working on a large brand accounts compared with SME
- Encourages positive agency culture and cross agency collaboration and integration
- Future focused
- Enjoys learning and adapting to change
- A basic understanding of Google Analytics
