We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a permanent position based at our Auckland Laboratory. The successful applicant will be responsible for:

- Investigating, initiating and organising corrective and preventative maintenance to instruments, equipment or facilities on site through a high quality, consistent, responsive service.
- Ensuring good communication and planning for Repairs and Maintenance to minimises down time of equipment.
- Carrying out root cause analysis to determine instrument or equipment failures.
- Driving process improvements and Optimization.
- Supporting and undertaking calibration work when required.
- Participating and contributing to health and safety continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring safety at work is top priority.

This is the perfect role for those that have a tertiary engineering education or relevant electrical/instrumentation/mechanical trade qualification. You will need to have 2+ years' experience in service or maintenance work with practical mechanical and/or electrical knowledge and competence. A New Zealand Electrical Service Technician (EST) Practicing Licence would be an advantage.

To thrive in this role, you must be self-motivated and enjoy working in a team. Excellent attention to detail coupled with good organisational and communication skills will see you do well in the AsureQuality environment
