With multiple locations throughout New Zealand, the Penske business has a stable background and is a great place to work. We have a permanent, full time opportunity available for a Sales Consultant to join our truck sales team working a Monday to Friday 45-hour week. This is a financially rewarding position for a confident and experienced sales professional who will relish the opportunity to really grow market share in the upper North Island.

Your core responsibility will be to proactively identify new business opportunities whilst maintaining excellent relationships with our extensive customer database. Exceeding customers' expectations will be what drives you to do the best job you can each time you are on the road representing our brands.

**Key Job functions will also include**:

- Selling MAN and Western Star trucks into fleet and retail customer markets in line with established targets;
- Developing strategies to enter new markets and expand the customer base;
- Play a part in developing and implementing key sales initiatives, programmes, campaigns and techniques to support Penske sales and marketing efforts;
- Provide customers with current information on product development, technical specifications, regional and national regulations, and industry developments;
- When required, participate in relevant industry conferences and seminars such as field days, truck shows etc;
- Review monthly sales performance, prepare and submit sales reports and identify barriers to performance with recommendations for improvement;
- Ensure new truck handover is conducted professionally and exceeds the expectations of our customers, our business and our brand to deliver exceptional customer service;
- Promoting and enhancing the MAN and Western Star products and the sales and workshop service team;
- Being an active proactive contributor to the Penske sales team.
