Our client, a leader in NZs technology landscape, is after a Pre-sales Consultant who brings with them great experience as an enabler to help deliver the best technology solution for clients.

You will work closely with Account Managers and other SME’s across the business to ensure the right technology outcomes are landed which will enable the client to achieve their strategic goals.

What you’ll be doing:
As a Pre-Sales Consultant you will be responsible for uncovering and defining customer requirements and providing assistance through delivering technical support of what is possible and how it applies to the business opportunity.
- Build, maintain and grow networks both internally and with customers to create opportunities
- Support the sales team to uncover and define customer requirements
- Provide assistance to your team through delivering technical support of what is possible and how it applies to the business opportunity
- Contribute to complex client proposals and RFx responses
- Present and articulate the solution and value to varying stakeholders - internal/external
- As a creative thinker, you will be looking for innovative ways to deliver outcomes

What you’ll need to succeed:

- Experience working in a technology pre-sales consultant role
- Great knowledge across a wide range of technology
- Strong commercial acumen to articulate solution and pricing calculations
- Experience working in an Agile way and have a growth mindset
- Able to work independently as well as a part of the local and wider national team
- An advantage if you have a background in cloud services, & cyber security
