**The Opportunity | Te Whiwhinga Mahi**
As a Case Manager, you will be the face of MSD, engaging directly with individuals and whanau to provide financial support, employment services, and housing assistance. You'll support people to achieve their goals by connecting them with the right services and creating tailored plans that work for them.
**What you'll be doing | He aha tau e mahi ana**
As the face of the organisation, you will be working alongside whanau to find out what is important to them and to support them into training or employment opportunities.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Building strong relationships and working collaboratively with others to enhance outcomes for whanau.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with your peers and partner agencies to give and receive support when needed.
- Engage with individuals, employers, and stakeholders to identify barriers and create plans for success.
- Providing empathetic and professional case management support, maintaining accurate records of client interactions.
- Managing client progress, adjusting support plans as needed to help them achieve their goals.
- Navigate various computer systems to manage client information and stay up to date with relevant policies and legislation.

These roles are 12 month fixed term opportunities and are is based in Whanganui.
**What you'll need to succeed | Ko nga mea ka hiahiatia e koe kia angitu**
- The ability to work independently and collaborate with team members to assess client needs and develop tailored support plans.
- Experience in a people centred environment or previous job where you have built connections, resilience, and a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of others.
- You will be organised, with sound decision making and problem-solving skills.
- You will bring a high level of personal integrity and initiative and be able take ownership and responsibility to follow through and deliver for the people in our community.
- We are seeking motivated people who are passionate about helping people from diverse backgrounds, and who have an aspiration for others to flourish, whilst being immersed within the community.
- Your ability to adapt and adjust support plans based on client progress will be key in achieving meaningful outcomes.
- Be purposeful: You will show care and warmth, give support to others. Look after the dignity of people through the expression of manaaki.
- Be resilient: The ability work in a fast paced and demanding role. You will be highly dependable and have the grit and tenacity to show up and be in the mahi, bringing developed strategies with you to cope with pressure, in an ever-changing environment.
- Be open: You will have the ability to be fully present and listen intently without judgement to what is being said, empathise with whanau and their experiences, thoughts, and feelings.
Please note - This role requires applicants to have a clean full New Zealand Driver Licence.
