**About the Role**
We are a dynamic multi-disciplinary team with the remit to support children and adolescents with acute distress and moderate to severe impairment due to mental health challenges to become stabilised and regain adequate functioning in daily life.

**About the Team**
Based in Hamilton, our multi-disciplinary team provide a community-based secondary mental health service to children and adolescents who are experiencing serious mental health difficulties. As a service, we recognise the importance of the wider whanau system in effecting long-term sustainable wellbeing outcomes.

**About you**
- Registered in a Clinical scope with the NZ Psychology Board or eligibility to obtain with a current annual practicing certificate.
- ICAMHS experience is preferred.
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.
- Strong interpersonal skills for working within a dynamic multidisciplinary team, including openness and professional respect.
- Train and consult with allied health professionals and community partners to deliver psychologically informed and evidence-based care that is goal-directed and solution-focused.
- Assess, formulate and treat complex presentations that require specialist psychological input.
- Confidence in assessing for Autism Spectrum Disorder with adolescents.
- Confidence in risk assessment and evidence-based short-term therapy interventions.
- A current full driver's licence.
