**Why choose Lotto?**:
At Lotto NZ, we’re believers in inspiring Kiwis to dream big. So working with us means doing meaningful mahi that benefits good causes across Aotearoa. All while having fun along the way.
Everything we do comes back to making sure Kiwis can play in a way that’s healthy and fun, whilst returning 100% of our profits back into our communities around Aotearoa.
**Our Commitment as a Crown Entity**:
In the public service we work collectively to make a meaningful difference for New Zealanders now and in the future. We have an important role in supporting the Crown in its relationships with Māori under the Treaty of Waitangi. We support democratic government. We are unified by a spirit of service to our communities and guided by the core principles and values of the public service in our work.
We’re setting up a brand-new headless CMS, and we need a hands-on specialist to lead the charge. You’ll be part of a project team shaping how content is structured, managed, and delivered across MyLotto’s website and app — with future channels in sight.
You’ll build the foundations: smart workflows, approval processes, and content hubs that make MyLotto experiences high-quality, accessible, and personalised. You’ll be the go-to for making the CMS hum and helping others get the best out of it.
On top of that, you’ll play a key role in content creation — from page layout and asset briefing to writing short-form copy and making sure everything meets top standards for accessibility, usability, and SEO.
Strong SEO know-how is a must, both technically and creatively, to keep us ahead of the curve.
**Your team**:
You’ll work in a supportive, forward-thinking team, get stuck into meaningful projects, and grow your expertise in a space that’s evolving fast. If you’re ready to make a real difference in digital delivery, this is the role for you.
This is your chance to shape how digital content is delivered at Lotto NZ — from the ground up. You’ll lead the rollout of a new headless CMS, work with cutting-edge personalisation tools, and create content that reaches millions. It’s a role where strategy meets creativity, and where your skills will directly impact how Kiwis experience MyLotto.
**A bit about you**:
You’re a digital all-rounder with 4-5 years’ experience making content work smarter. You know your way around headless CMS platforms (bonus points for Contentful), and you’ve got solid HTML/CSS skills to back it up. You understand how personalisation tools like Salesforce can elevate the experience, and you’re across SEO — from site architecture to how LLMs like ChatGPT are changing the game.
You’re detail-driven, great at documenting processes, and confident creating landing pages that tick all the boxes for UX, accessibility, and SEO. You can write sharp, user-focused copy, and while design skills are a plus, they’re not a must.
You’ve worked with analytics, A/B testing, and agile teams, and you know how to plan ahead, brief clearly, and get things done. You’re familiar with GA4, wireframes, and customer journeys — and you’re always thinking about how to make digital better.
**How we care for you**:
To help you win at work and beyond, we’ve created some purposeful ways to look after you, your whānau and the community we. Some of this includes:
- Flexibility to have the work-life balance that suits both you and the people you care about via our hybrid working model.
- Extra paid leave for days like Lotto Day at Christmas and Volunteer Day.
- Recruitment referral bonus.
- Modern office in Newmarket plus barista coffee machine.
- An array of health and wellness benefits such as free flu jabs, access to EAP and onsite gym.
- Opportunity to join any of our Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Wellbeing networks.
- Enjoy fresh fruit, biscuits, coffee, breakfast, and a selection of teas on us
**Come as you are**:
We want you to feel at home when you’re with us. We accept you and celebrate you exactly as you are, no matter your background.
At Lotto NZ, we believe that when everyone’s in, everyone wins. That’s why we’re committed to and intentional about building a diverse and inclusive workforce that our customers and communities can feel a part of. Our focus is to create an environment where you thrive, and where people from all backgrounds feel seen, heard, and understood
This is your opportunity to join a group of good people, with good vibes who support each other like whānau.
We want you to feel comfortable throughout the recruitment process
