Opportunity for experienced Electrical Contracts Manager
We are currently working with a well-established Electrical Contractor who has the opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager. This company specialises in Electrical for Mechanical Commercial projects around Auckland. If you have previous experience as a Contracts Manager and are keen to work on HVAC, BMS, power and lighting systems, building automation and controls projects, call Katy on 021459391.
What you'll need to succeed:
- EWRB preferred
- Project Management qualification (preferred)
- Electrical, mechanical wiring and controls experience
- Able to read drawings and markup’s
- Can interpret contracts and project documentation, specifications, and datasheets
- Knowledge of contract law and can draft, negotiate, review, and evaluate construction agreements covering a range of transactions
- Provide commercial review and analysis to optimise performance of contracts / projects, and identify ways by which costs can be mitigated
- Can plan, organise, and manage teams, equipment, resources, budgets and outcomes from contract / project inception to completion
- Can create and maintain healthy and productive relationships with customers and suppliers
- Must have high levels of H&S
- Excellent internal and external relationships, attend and lead meetings with strong communication
- Have a high degree of accuracy, an eye for detail, and great analytical skills;
