The secret to our success is our people. While we are ordinary people, we are not all the same. We welcome diversity, in all its forms, in fact we consider it a strength. Join us and work at the heart of national security to protect New Zealand and New Zealanders.

CERT NZ is New Zealand's national Computer Emergency Response Team. We investigate cyber security incident reports, track cyber security incidents and attacks, and provide advice to all New Zealanders (businesses, organisations and individuals) on how to respond to and prevent further attacks. We work closely with our international counterparts across more than 100 other national CERTs to prevent and respond to cyber security incidents.

Our primary goal is to improve cyber security resilience in New Zealand, which means:

- Increased comprehension of the threat landscape
- Better avoidance of incidents, and
- Reducing the impact of incidents.
