The Punnet team are seeking an experienced and personable Front of House 2ic.
Immediate start available but not a necessity.

As Waikato institutions go Punnet Eatery is one of those places ‘you just have to go’. Set in a beautiful rural setting, the Eatery is the best place to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy the country air and the Waikato’s finest daytime dining.
The business is owned and operated every day by the McMahon family and we treat our team, suppliers and customers just like one big family. We have a fabulous children’s playground and consider ourselves to be the hub of the Tamahere community.

Our fare is rustic fine dining and we are known as being a very very special place to go. We pride ourselves on being really down to earth in everything we do and that’s reflected in our food, our drink, our team and the Punnet culture. We are lucky enough to pick our own strawberries during summer and showcase the regions finest fare. The menu is seasonal, fresh and designed in house by the Punnet Chef team.

For the role at Punnet, you will be responsible for ensuring a special and memorable experience for all of our lovely customers. Being able to deliver exceptional table service while juggling a busy section will be easy for you Attention to detail will be second nature to you and you will possess a solid understanding of how a busy eatery operates and able to run the front of house team daily.

As the second in charge at Punnet, you will be responsible for running busy day to day shifts. With your previous history of being in other high pressure restaurant situations, it will be a breeze for you to host guests, organise staff, and liaise clearly with the kitchen team. We really value the person who can provide the support and organisation for the FOH manager.

Barista experience a bonus.
