**We are looking for a Butchery 2IC to join our team at PAK’nSAVE Clarence St**
We are looking for an experienced Butchery 2IC or Senior Butcher with outstanding leadership, organisational and planning skills to help lead our high performing team and support the Butchery Manager in day-to-day operations of the meat department.
**The Role**:
- Tuesday to Saturday, with negotiable start and finish times
- Organise the consistent offer of quality meats from Value packs to store made sausages and small goods.
- Monitor inventory, assist with ordering, and help manage waste and shrinkage
- Provide the team an awesome place to work, keeping them motivated, happy and healthy
- Maintain high levels of product quality, food safety, hygiene, and stock control
- Help create, drive and deliver customer experiences worth driving past the competition for
- Uphold merchandising and display standards to drive sales and customer engagement

**What are we looking for**:
- Qualified Butcher with previous experience in a retail butchery environment (senior butcher or team leader level)
- Proven leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Positive, hands-on attitude and willingness to lead by example
- Excellent Food Safety and Health & Safety standards
- Experience with small goods and value-added products is an advantage
- Must have the right to work in New Zealand
- Familiarity with SAP is preferred (Buyers Workbench transactions)
