We have an exciting opportunity for you to become a vital part of our butchery team We're searching for a dedicated and experienced qualified butcher or NZ apprentice to provide our valued customers with top-notch meat products and exceptional service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Expertly cut, trim, and prepare a wide variety of meats to meet customer preferences and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist customers in selecting the perfect cuts for their needs, offering guidance and suggestions as necessary.
- Operate and maintain meat processing equipment, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure product displays are visually appealing and well-stocked.

**Job requirements**:

- A qualified butcher or an apprentice, with a deep understanding of meat cuts and preparation techniques.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to handle cutting tools and stand for extended periods.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering top-quality products.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts as needed.

**This is a permanent role working 5 days a week (Sunday to Thursday) with 5:00am starts.**
