Our client Total Hydraulic Solutions Ltd, (Hydraulink Rotorua, Taupo & Whakatane) are under pressure, and it is all good Proud to be locally owned and operated, they lead the way with innovations in hydraulic systems, backed up by a strong brand and a team driven to succeed. Their continued strong performance in this tough market means they need more permanent Hydraulic Service Technicians (HST) to join their dynamic team across the region. Providing high-quality hose repair service to their customers across Rotorua, the Hydraulic Service Technician will be the main contact person and trouble-shooter for their customers, the name and the face of the Company.

This is not a routine workshop based job, you'll be out on the road in a mobile workshop with heaps of autonomy. Predominately working in Rotorua and the outlying district, you will get loads of variety - all sorts of customers, all sorts of problems, all sorts of locations, and all sorts of activities. Planning and scheduling visits, getting out there amongst new and existing customers and building relationships are key components to this role.

- Ability to think outside the box, with the willingness to take on additional tasks and duties
- Physical fitness
- Able and willing to undertake rostered on-call work

If you're someone with a mechanical aptitude with, a get it done attitude, like the challenge of being busy, have a passion for providing customer service, an eye for detail and are organised with great time management skills then we want to hear from you. Knowledge of hydraulics would be advantageous but not essential as full training is provided. Rostered on-call work is part of the role and a full and clean Class 1 drivers licence is a must.

If you feel your skill set may be what we are looking for, we would like to talk to you. Paid training for the successful applicant will be provided via online training modules and on site. Undergoing all training aspects will be an employment requirement. This is a great stepping stone role, with the opportunity to establish a career in hydraulics and potentially move in to other areas of the business, including installation and workshop based roles.
