The Senior Digital Engagement Advisor role sits within the Information & Education team of the Engagement and Experience branch here at MBIE.

We're looking for an experienced digital professional who can contribute to a high performing team of peers that continually look to improve our online content, digital platforms, tools and channels

In this role you will lead, advise and guide on digital engagement best practice that delivers awareness and understanding of diverse legislations to a variety of customers and communities.

You will use your relationship building skills, project management experience and digital best practice knowledge to deliver content that engages with all of Aotearoa, New Zealand.

**You will bring**:

- At least five years’ experience working in a digital first environment.
- Proven experience in building strong, trusted relationships to deliver digital engagement solutions.
- The ability to take complex information and rewrite into engaging online content that is easy to read and accessible.
- A good knowledge of project management to help deliver digital plans.
- Proven knowledge of digital trends, techniques and technologies that improve website usability and accessibility that connects all our channels.
- An understanding of the benefits to SEO, SEM, Google analytics and similar tools.
- The ability to take complex information and rewrite into engaging online content that is easy to read and accessible.
- The skill to turn data and insights into strategic narratives for senior leaders.
- A tertiary qualification in marketing, communications or digital studies or equivalent knowledge and experience in managing websites and digital marketing and communications.
