The Senior Digital Engagement Advisor roles are in Wellington, which sits within the Digital Engagement team within the Engagement and Experience branch here at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment. In this role you will bring innovation and continually look for ways to further develop and improve our digital platforms, tools, channels, content and marketing strategies and campaigns. You will look forward to enhancing our customers’ experience using data, analytics and insights.

You are a fun and ambitious person who will contribute to a newly formed team. You will assist the Information and Education team by providing high quality digital advice, strategies and service. You like to find innovative solutions for planning and delivering easy to understand legislative information to a variety of customers, stakeholders, communities’ agencies and businesses associations.

**In addition, you will**:
- be up-to-date with the latest digital trends, techniques and technologies, and can identify to use new trends in order to improve efficiency, quality and consistency of our channels.
- have at least five years’ experience working with websites, social media, digital tools and developing marketing plans and campaigns, including using SEM,SEO, social media, radio and TV advertising, AdWords and newsletters and in assisting with the development of broad and targeted educational programmes
- have proven record in proactively conceiving, writing, reviewing, editing and proofreading information to ensure it is relevant to our customers, meets business needs and reflect content strategy objectives.
- ability to provide intellectual, technical and coaching support to the rest of the team and develop their expertise in the digital environment, marketing and technolgy
- be experienced in improving website findability, usability and accessibility, and in increasing diverse social media channels engagement, followers and likes and the number of visitors to website.
- have aptitude using CX, UX principles, data, Google and social media analytics to develop insights that will lead to useful and implementable actions.
- You will have a tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, technology or digital studies, or equivalent, and experience in managing social media, websites, marketing and communications.
