Parker Bridge are on the lookout for a part time Accounts Receivable and Credit Control Officer to join a New Zealand owned infrastructure company in Wellington CBD for a permanent employment opportunity

**The role**

As the Accounts Receivable and Credit Control Officer you will be handling accounts receivable processing within the financial team reporting directly to the group CFO.

Ideally you will have at least 2 years of credit control / accounts receivables experience and the capability to manage a corporate debt portfolio.

You will be responsible for managing the company’s debtors, clearing outstanding accounts, building long lasting relationships with their customers, and assisting with month end and year end processes.

You will be responsible for:

- Monitoring the organisations outbound accounts receivable invoices
- Chasing and confirming outstanding debt claims with corporate clients such as construction companies, government agencies, and sole traders
- Cashflow reporting
- Monthly reconciliations
- Assisting with financial reporting
- Supporting the Accounts Payable function on an adhoc basis

This role would suit someone who is wanting to take the next step in their career with accounts receivables and enthusiastic about everything that orientates around credit control.

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate the following:

- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Experience using Xero
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end accounts receivable processes
- Experience with bank reconciliations and invoice processing
- Project accounting experience is ideal
- Proven ability to build stakeholder relationships
- Strong attention to detail
- An engaging personality who strives for success.
