**What you’ll be doing**

Our Credit Control Officer plays an integral part within our well-established Finance department. With the support of our accounts associate, you'll be responsible for management of all facets of the credit control function for the Group (NZ and US), with a focus on:

- Providing operational support to the Finance, Customer Services and Sales teams for all transactional accounting work within credit control
- Management of debtors - escalating where required in line with processes
- Finalisation of Aged Trial Balance for the Group by liaising with the relevant parties
- Supporting the Finance team during annual and monthly financial reporting
- Building and maintaining productive working relationships with business partners, customers and the sales teamCredit card and expense reconciliation

**What you’ll bring**
- Experience with computer based accounting systems, preferably using ERP systems along with Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of credit control procedures
- Accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Good verbal and written communication skills, having experience in presenting collection, debt and credit reports to senior stakeholders
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment3+ years' experience in a similar role

Either a tertiary qualification or an accounting technician qualification would be desirable. Previous experience within US healthcare or hospital systems would be advantageous.
