The business is a one stop shop kiwi businesses can rely on for anything and everything related to electronic & electrical testing and measurement. Because they offer such a broad spectrum of products, the business is positioned to truly deliver tailored solutions, and advise around what product is best for any given problem or result needed. The business only sources the best product from reputable manufacturers around the globe, from handheld field test equipment to high precision, high specification bench equipment.
The business now needs a technical sales superstar who can take their national sales team to the next level. This is a great role suited for someone coming from the electrical/electrical engineering industry who wants to get into sales, or a salesperson with a genuine passion for electrical product & industry
**About the Role**:
As Sales Engineer you will be responsible for developing and growing business with Electrical Manufacturers, Wholesalers, Contractors, Utilities, and Industrial companies across the North Island, selling a wide range of electrical and power protection, test & measurement products with a consultative, solution-based approach.
Key challenge will be tailoring solutions for key customers utilising a wide range of products for a broad range of customers, adapting to their various needs. Reason for hiring is to elevate the sales team, so the General Manager can take a step away from sales and focus on developing the team.
**About You**:
You will be able to demonstrate the following skills, knowledge & experience:
- **Results driven with good understanding of Sales -** Can demonstrate sales results achieved through proactive activity with solution based/consultative selling approach
- **Ambitious, Career Driven and Passionate about Technical Product -** You are someone who proactively develops themselves, has genuine interest in advanced electrical product and actively seeks to learn more.
- **Disciplined, Reliable, has Strong Integrity and Follow Through**:
- **Understanding of Technology within the Electrical Industry - **It would be advantageous if you come from the electrical industry
- **High Level Rapport Building Ability-** You will be someone who makes a great first impression and is easy to build rapport and gain trust of those around them, colleagues & clients alike.
