Core Responsibilities:

  1. Market/Product/Brand Promotion: Participate in large-scale marketing events, industry exhibitions, and media interviews, delivering professional content to enhance the brand's expert image and market influence. Play a deep role in market strategy formulation, providing the marketing and sales teams with core product technical selling points and scientific support.

  2. Technical Training & Support:Develop and implement systematic pet nutrition and technical training programs for internal sales, marketing, and store teams to enhance the overall professional level of the team. Serve as the highest-level internal technical consultant, resolving complex technical issues encountered by front-line teams.

  3. Product R&D & Innovation:Be deeply involved in the end-to-end development of new products. Based on market needs and cutting-edge nutritional research, propose product concepts, formula suggestions, and conduct efficacy evaluations. Lead the formula optimization and upgrade iterations of existing products to ensure their scientific validity and market leadership.

  4. R&D Collaboration Expansion: Proactively identify and engage with New Zealand-based universities and research institutions to establish and maintain long-term R&D partnerships. Drive joint research projects to incorporate the latest academic findings into the company's product development pipeline.

  5. Production Technical Support: Act as a bridge between Technology and Production, working closely with OEM partners or in-house factories to ensure the accurate translation of product formulas into industrial-scale production. Resolve technical issues related to nutrition and formulas arising during the manufacturing process, guaranteeing stable product quality.

  6. Front-line Customer Consultation:Provide top-tier professional nutritional consultation services to key clients or for complex cases, maintaining sensitivity to on-the-ground market dynamics.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Food Science, or a related field. A high-level pet nutritionist certification is highly advantageous.

  2. Proven senior experience in pet nutrition, veterinary clinical practice, or pet food R&D. Experience in project management or team training is required.

  3. Deep knowledge of pet nutrition, capable of handling product development and technical exchanges with academic institutions.

  4. Excellent public speaking skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences (customers, team members, academics, plant engineers).

  5. Understanding of commercial objectives and the ability to translate technical advantages into market value. Capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently across R&D, training, and collaboration.

  6. New Zealand residency is preferred. Exceptional English communication skills (both written and verbal) are fundamental for local collaboration and community integration.

  7. Strategic thinker, proactive, self-motivated, and able to influence others. Mature, professional demeanor with excellent cross-departmental collaboration and interpersonal skills. Must be a passionate pet owner with genuine enthusiasm for the pet industry.
