**We are looking for a Part Time afternoon Operations Controller in Christchurch - Maces Road Depot. **Hours of work are Thursday / Friday / Saturday evenings - 14:30 till 00:30
This is an opportunity to part of our Operations team. The role requires a cool head and an ability to make time critical decisions. You will need to be a confident communicator and comfortable with technology.
**As an Operations Controller, you will**:
- Monitor real time on road bus operations to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds contracted service expectations
- Manage on road service disruptions and detours
- Manage Incidents and accidents
- Co-ordinate driver and fleet on road changes
**Knowledge / Experience**:
- Ideally can demonstrate extensive work experience in an urban bus real time monitoring environment.

- Excellent customer service
- A confident verbal and written communicator
- Excellent use of information systems to support decisive decision-making effecting positively on service and commercial outcomes
- Be calm under pressure and maintain a professional attitude at all times
