This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned asset management professional looking to have a significant impact on large-scale infrastructure projects while driving continuous improvement, delivering innovative solutions, and fostering strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive the integration of asset management principles within contract teams, providing technical leadership and guidance to enhance asset performance, lifecycle management, and service delivery
- Facilitate the development and execution of asset management strategies that maximise operational efficiency and meet client objectives
- Continuously assess and improve asset management systems and processes, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and the long-term objectives of the contract
- Provide expert input into the tendering process, particularly for estimates, quantities, and attributes that reflect realistic asset engineering advancements
- Identify opportunities to improve network performance and reduce risks through the continuous review of treatment efficacy and performance dataLead and enforce health, safety, and environmental protocols across all asset management processes, ensuring mínimal risk and fostering a proactive safety culture

**Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills**

To be successful in this role, you will bring the following qualifications and experience:

- Preferably a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent extensive industry experience including asset management
- Proven ability to lead and manage complex asset management systems, with a deep understanding of infrastructure asset lifecycle management, maintenance strategies, and renewal planning
- Advanced skills in data analysis, asset modelling, and decision making frameworks, with experience in Failure Mode Analysis (FMA) and condition assessment
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical issues in a clear and impactful manner to a wide range of stakeholdersA collaborative and strategic mindset, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive asset management innovation
