We are seeking a Health and Safety Administrator who will support the construction site projects, Project / Site Manager and the Safety Manager.

**The company**

This is a fantastic position reporting to the Health and Safety Manager and based in Mount Wellington. The Company has over 40 years of experience in architecturally designed homes, multi-unit developments, additions, alterations, and Light Commercial construction for a broad spectrum of clients. Beautiful projects come to life and safety is a main focus for all employed.

**The role**

As the Safety Administrator you will be responsible for providing general administration support, fostering positive risk practices in the workplace, facilitating the communication of knowledge, information and advice to managers and staff, and maintaining up to date site/HQ documentation. This would suit someone who is entry level to safety and has experience in construction, or maybe a superstar Admin who has already worked in construction and understands SSSP’s for clients and subcontractors.

**Duties**
- Maintain HSE documentation and filing
- Provide assistance to the Safety Team as needed
- Organise meetings with the Health and Safety reps and take minutes
- Assist, maintain and compile incidents/accidents
- Prepare new employee employment documentation
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure appropriate procedures and processes are in place
- Assist with the implementation of management systems
- Order and/or distribute Health and Safety equipment, materials, signage, etc.

**Skills and experience**
- Experience in the construction sector is desirable
- Knowledgeable and experienced on, health, safety and environment
- Ability to contribute to achieve outstanding team performance
- Highly skilled at administrative and records management
- Constructive “can do” approach to problem solving
- Computer skills
- Company uses BWare - knowledge of this system would be desirable but full training given
- Full New Zealand Driver’s Licence
