Health and Safety Coordinator

**Description**:
We are currently looking for a passionate and driven Health and Safety Coordinator to support the deployment of safety strategy across our Marlborough/Tasman land and sea-based operations. Reporting to the Health and Safety Advisor at Havelock. This role will provide targeted and pragmatic support across our risk management practices, assurance processes and safety engagement activity. This will include communicating operational safety standards required, supporting events and incident responses, monitoring remedial actions and control measures, coordinating rehabilitation activity, reporting and administration.
**What you need to be successful in this role**:
To be successful in this role you will ideally have experience and qualifications in the field of health and safety management, a passion for creating a safe and high performing workplace, and good interpersonal and communication skills. A team player who can work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a high standard but also can work autonomously. You will also have a proactive approach that is focused on solutions to continuously improve. Has a high level of integrity. Has knowledge and understanding of the Health and Safety Act 2015, has Level 4 Rep training or the Equivalent of a Certificate and most importantly is passionate about Health and Safety.
