The role is varied and busy and the successful applicant would be willing to roll their sleeves up and get involved in supporting the wider business team on effective Health and Safety management systems, including projects and initiatives. This may require occasional travel to our regional offices.

If you are passionate about health and safety, willing to learn, and thrive on being process-oriented, you might just be the person we've been looking for.

**As a Health and Safety officer at Healthvision, you would be responsible for**:

- Monitoring work processes and procedures and working with key stakeholders to ensure compliance (Health and Safety).
- Identify, analyze and report near misses and any potential safety hazards.
- Monitor ACC injuries and lead back-to-work programs.
- Collaborate and work closely with Quality Management and Learning and Development on Health and Safety monitoring and training/s.
- Support a continuous improvement culture and instill best practices across all aspects of the health and safety function.
- Upskilling, and keeping abreast of relevant legislation changes and its impact on the organisation.

**To be successful in this role**:
You would have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build and establish relationships and:

- Formally qualified in health and safety and possess 2 years of work experience in an operational health and safety role, ideally in a similar industry.
- Ability to think pragmatically and provide sound advice on a range of H&S issues
- Meticulous, attention to detail, and self-motivated.
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and excellent time management skills
- Importantly an open mindset, positive attitude and a team member.
- You should have the right to work legally and permanently in New Zealand.
