MuleSoft is looking for a highly driven Technical Architect in our rapidly growing and influential Customer Success Strategy & Architecture (CSSA) team to work primarily with strategic accounts to further drive adoption of MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform within and across the enterprise.
As a MuleSoft CSSA Technical Architect, you will work closely with our strategic accounts to understand their business challenges and identify how MuleSoft can help create a solution that will allow their business to be more agile, flexible, and successful. You will help to advance integration maturity and cost-effectiveness by providing guidance around common patterns, centralized management, shared infrastructure, technical leadership, and other best practices.

**What does a typical day look like for you?**:
- You collaborate with Customer Success Managers on building a strategic success plan for our enterprise customers
- You execute the planned activities for customers such as workshops, enablement sessions, architecture reviews, etc
- You drive customer account business outcomes by collaborating with cross-functional account teams like Account Executives, Solution Engineers, Engagement Managers, Customer Success Managers, etc.
- You develop new content to enable your Customer Success peers and drive a culture of strategic thinking and idea sharing
- You work with Product team by sharing customer feedback on existing and upcoming product features, helping to deliver an amazing product experience to our customers
**How is this role going to help you grow**:
- The role offers you a rich experience of having strategic and architectural conversations with with leaders, technology and business stakeholders within customer organizations of different scales, use cases, and industries
- You will develop and hone your skills in strategic thinking & planning, leveraging technology to drive business outcomes, proactive account development and product management
- Exposure to diverse technology landscapes and capabilities supporting cloud and hybrid infrastructures, enterprise security, API economy, SaaS products, and data pipelines
**What you will need to be successful**:
- Java implementation experience in enterprise software complimented with experience in APIs and integration technologies (e.g. REST/SOAP, SOA), and familiarity with integration architecture and API Design and Management.
- Experience with Public Cloud and PaaS platforms with the ability to understand and communicate both the value of, and differences between, Cloud, On-Premise, and Hybrid deployment models
- Deep understanding of Enterprise SDLC and Operations practices
- Basic knowledge of container stack such as Docker, Kubernetes, optional (EKS, AKS)
- Strategic advisory skills to engage with customers beyond technical architecture. Ability to immerse yourself in a customer’s business and connect the dots between one-off initiatives and broader strategic vision
- Comfortable with multi tasking across parallel work streams, and prioritizing different roles and tasks
- Deeply motivated by making customers successful and rapidly growing their use of MuleSoft products and services
- Customer communication and presentation / core consulting skills
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent industry experience
In order to be most effective at helping customers, this role requires ongoing communication with customers in the form of online and onsite meetings. Some travel may be required. With COVID/current circumstances, we operate in a mostly virtual manner.
