The Senior Specialist Advisor will be working with a wide range of customers across the region, assessing and providing specialist technical input into complex resource consents in regard to stormwater management and industrial and trade activities. Senior Specialist Advisors are also responsible for mentoring junior staff, peer reviewing reports and delegated decision making. You will show leadership to other team members and support your Team Leader when necessary.

The Stormwater, Wastewater and ITA (Industry and Trade Activities) team is part of the Specialist Unit in the Resource Consents Department and is based in the CBD. The team is involved in a wide range of development projects, including major subdivisions and nationally significant infrastructure projects. We cover the entire Auckland region and are passionate about promoting sustainable development whilst minimising environmental risks in a fast growing city.
