**About the position**:
We are on the hunt for a talented and qualified Kaiako to deliver the Te Kunenga o te Ao Tikanga programme, which is based on Ako Whakatere methodology and techniques. The Kaiako is responsible for delivering programme content professionally and effectively as well as taking an active role in the recruitment and retention of tauira.
**About you**:
To be considered for this role you will be passionate about teaching and inspiring students of all walks of life and hold:
- NZ Certificate in Adult Tertiary Teaching (NZCATT) Level 5 or equivalent - we can support those to gain this tohu.
- Full clean driver’s license
**Experience**:
- At least 4 years’ immersion in Te Ao Māori, at least 4 years exposure to ngā tikanga Māori, and
- Experience in Adult Teaching
**Āhuatanga Māori**:
- Have proficient knowledge related to Te Ao Māori and is a leader regarding Āhuatanga Māori
- Have a high degree of fluency, have an excellent spoken and written Māori Language ability, and can provide guidance and leadership in this area
