The Public Health Agency (PHA) is a new and distinctly, branded business unit being established within the Ministry. It will lead population and public health policy, strategy, regulatory, intelligence, surveillance and monitoring functions across the system.
Ko tōu ake mahi - What You'll Do
Lead the Intelligence, Systems and Knowledge function of the PHA, driving the design and establishment to ensure adequate capability and capacity within the group. You have strong population and public health expertise in insights, surveillance and knowledge as you lead and support the development & maturation of a Public Health Knowledge Surveillance System (PHKSS), in partnership with Te Aka Whai Ora and Te Whatu Ora
You are politically savvy and you know what is important to key stakeholders as you build and lead the intelligence & knowledge within the team.
Remote working available, with an expectation of regular time spent in our Wellington office to encourage face to face collaboration with your team.
