Te tūnga | The role
This is a newly created role at ESR within the Health Intelligence and Surveillance Group. This group contains a wealth of epidemiology, data and informatics, and public health expertise and has a programme of work which is critical to Aotearoa New Zealand's surveillance of infectious disease.
Kia angitu koe | About you
**To be successful in this role you will have**:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science/Public Health/Health Informatics or relevant discipline
- 3-5 years of experience with a Clinical Information system e.g clair, Concerto, Cerner, REDCap
- Experience in public health reporting and system integration with Azure DevOps Leadership experience, ideally including agile teams
- Previous experience of leading and managing a team of people, projects and associated service delivery
- Excellent organisational ability and time management to meet operational and project deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Innovative thinking style, focused on resolution of unanticipated problems/situations
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
