**Te whiwhinga mahi**| The Opportunity**
This is an exciting opportunity to join the North Island Sarcoma (bone and tissue cancer) service. As the MDM and data coordinator for the service, you will work within a small team responsible for the coordination and delivery of the weekly multidisciplinary meeting. Health professionals attend these meetings from different specialities to discuss and recommend options for patient’s treatment and care. This is an essential component for delivering the highest quality and comprehensive care for our sarcoma patients.
The role involves:
- Supporting the co-ordination of the North Island Sarcoma MDM in collaboration with the clinical leads and nurse specialists
- Assisting clinical staff by attending and contributing to the North Island sarcoma MDM by ensuring that all information is available to support robust decision-making.
- Maintaining an accurate, ongoing record of all North Island Sarcoma patients who are referred to the MDM and discussed by the team

**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**
- Ideally 4+ years of administrative experience in an office setting
- Good relationship management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously within a busy environment and proficient in managing more than one activity simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a multidisciplinary work environment
- Experienceworking within a health service would be desirable
