**Job Duties**:

- Preparing and baking a variety of bread, rolls, and pastries fresh each day.
- Checking ingredient quality, weighing, mixing, kneading, shaping, and preparing dough.
- Monitoring oven temperatures and baking times to ensure perfect results.
- Decorating cakes and pastries with icing, cream, and glazes.
- Keeping baking equipment clean and sanitized for the next shift.
- Assisting with inventory, ingredient storage, and ordering supplies.
- Ensuring all baked goods meet food safety and quality standards.
- Occasionally assisting customers with orders and providing friendly service.

**Requirements**:

- NZQF Level 4 qualification or equivalent or higher OR
- At least three years of relevant experience.
- Passion for baking and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced bakery environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to be part of a friendly and hardworking team.
