Prime Hotels are looking for an experienced and motivated customer service superstar to join our team as a Hotels Services Manager.

This role is primarily based in Tauranga but will require travelling and staying at other properties within the group - Turangi, Taupo, Whitianga, Hawkes Bay and Wellington.

The Hotel Services Manager is responsible for coordinating all Front of House activities, supporting the Front of House teams and the Housekeeping teams and overseeing the PMS/POS operations. Additionally, the HSM will be required to provide Relief Management of the Hotels/Resorts in the absence of Hotels/Resorts Managers.

**To shine in this role, you will**:

- Ensure that all aspects of Front Office duties and responsibilities are carried out according to the Prime Hotels policy and procedures.
- Have a strong understanding and input in all day operations (including Night Audit and Night Shifts).
- Have Housekeeping experience (or be willing to learn), as you will need to perform housekeeping supervision and assist in rooms when the site is busy, as well as completing room checks to ensure a high standard for guests.
- Have strong experience with PMS system (preferably RMS) and POS systems and be technology-savvy, as a large part of your role requires the computer.
- Handle and respond to reviews and guest complaints and provide relevant solution and follow-up. Report to the Hotel Manager with all detailed and sufficient information.
- Drive sales and yield rates where possible.
- Manage rates and inventory opening/closure accordingly and report to Management with actions, and review opportunities for repeat business.
- Ensures that security and safety of guests and team members are always adhered to, most especially during after-hours.
- Ability to manage an effective roster for the full team, considering business demand.
- Responsible for training newcomers and upskilling the team members and assisting with recruitment if applicable.
- Implementing improved standard policies and procedures in line with the vision of the company.
- Provide excellent, customer-centered service with a positive and approachable attitude.
- A Qualification in Tourism/Hospitality Management or related field, or in IT systems, or equivalent experience in a Hotel (1+ Year) would be advantageous.

The successful applicant will need to be willing and able to travel and stay onsite at other properties to provide cover - This will include weekends and holiday periods.

We are looking for a top achiever, passionate and driven with great personality and experience to bring to the table. You will be personable, working closely with the Senior Hotels Management Team and the Group GM in preparation for relief and constant operation improvements.
