Joining Z as our new EVCI Project Engineer will see you utilise your project management skills to develop and implement multiple, on-going, initiatives of varying sizes, complexity, and locations.
**You will have the opportunity to**
- Provide an in-house engineering design and project management resource focused on EV Charging Infrastructure
- Work closely with the Delivery Manager, and wider EVCI Team to develop and implement engineering projects and initiatives
- Contribute to the development and execution of capital investment projects that will support productivity and costs initiatives
- Ensure projects follow correct processes and comply with regulatory, industry design and construction standards while also ensuring compliance and adherence to engineering best-practice
- Manage project funds, track and report expenditures and variances and ensure project close-out processes meet company requirements and stakeholder expectations
**Qualifications**:
**What you’ll bring to Z**
- Previous experience in the management and delivery of commercial projects
- Relevant engineering qualifications and experience with electrical installations
- Understanding of EV charging technologies
- Commercial acumen to ensure investments are productive and fit for purpose
- The ability to lead; delivery of initiatives with technical squads or people
- Computer aided drawing experience (AutoCAD)
- Excellent communication and influencing skills in a customer facing environment
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and communicate to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Innovative thinking

The base salary range for this role is $128,690 to $151,400 per annum, plus 15% bonus based on company performance, a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution and health insurance through Southern Cross.
