**Vacancy Details** **Job Title**: Kitchen Hand **Location**: Wellington CBD **Employment Type**: Permanent & Full-time **Days required**: Monday to Sunday on roster **Hours per week**: guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours a week, and a maximum of 50 hours a week. **Number of Vacancies**: 3 positions **Key tasks & responsibilities**: - Washing, peeling, cutting, slicing and dicing food ingredients in preparation for cooking and serving - Handling, sorting and distributing food items - Cleaning the pans and pots and general utensils like plates and bowls used in the kitchen and restaurant - Daily Kitchen Cleaning and ensuring food and hygiene standards according to Food Control Plan - Packing food and beverage trays for serving - Disposing daily rubbish **To be right for this role and our organization, you need**: - No prior experience or qualification is required, but it would be an advantage if you have experience in this industry. - On-the-job training will be provided if you are the right one. - Must be able to work at weekends. - Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Long-term commitment required. - Time management and punctuality. **Benefits** - A stable position in Wellington. - Supportive and friendly team environment. - Competitive hourly rate from $28.18 to $29.66 per hour. - Guaranteed 30 to 50 hours per week. **Please note your visa status in the cover letter or CV if you are not a New Zealand Citizen or Resident.** **If you feel this job is right for you, please upload your CV with a cover letter by clicking "APPLY" now.
