**Position Overview**:
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hands to join our casual team. As a Kitchen Hand, you will play a key role in supporting our chefs by ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, a passion for food, and the flexibility to work on a casual basis. Hours can range from 10 hours per week, up to 40 hours per week in busy periods. You will be able to communicate with your manager how many hours you would like to work.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and plating
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and equipment
- Help with general kitchen cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Ensure all food preparation areas meet hygiene and safety standards
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff as required during busy service periods
- Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with venue guidelines

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Previous kitchen experience (preferred but not required)
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, and weekends
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (preferred but training will be provided)
- ** You must have a driver's license and access to a vehicle. Boomrock is not accessible via public transport.**
