This position reports to the Engineering Team Leader and is based in our Kaikohe office.

**I ā koe - About You**

We’re looking for someone who brings:

- 3+ years NZ experience in engineering, planning, infrastructure or similar fields.
- A civil engineering, planning qualification or equivalent.
- Experience in a development engineering in either a public or private sector.
- Experience or a willingness to undertake training.
- Great oral and written communication skills, be it with colleagues, clients or contractors.
- Ability to work closely and proactively with a wide range of stakeholders including the public and internal staff.
- Demonstrated ability in project management including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with set timeframes.
- Enthusiasm and commitment to excellence in customer service.
- High level of relationship development, management, and customer facilitation skills.
- A desire to get the best outcomes for our community.
