The role of Transport Operations Continuity Manager is to lead the interface with the Auckland Transport (AT) functions to plan, develop, implement and coordinate the strategic and functional requirements for the transport network during the construction and commissioning prior to 'Day One' operations and thereafter, and ensure continuity of the Auckland transport network including other Public Transport modes, road operations and the resulting traffic flows, cycling and pedestrian traffic flows, road corridor access and maintenance. This role will also lead the development and implementation of the Rail Safety and Assurance Management plan.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Oversee the development of integrated Operations Plans for future development project(s).
- Assist in the development of procurement documentation, tender evaluation and bid analysis for integration of light and heavy rail systems.
- Develop a Transport Continuity Plan for the integrated network for the project phases prior to and during construction and oversee its implementation across other functions.
- Lead the development of operational whole of life costs as they relate to network disruption.
- Assist in the development of procurement documentation, tender evaluation and bid analysis for operations.
- Implement international best practices from other existing overseas Light Rail and Heavy Rail construction projects.
- Document and implement an Integration Strategy with the existing PT Network for future development projects and programmes.

**Keys Skills will include**:

- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or transport Planning or related discipline
- 10 years' experience in transport operations, or proven experience within a similar function
- Proven experience working as part of a team on a variety of large and significant projects
- Proven experience in Transport modelling
- Experience in procurement documentation, tender evaluation and bid analysis for operations.
- Desirable will be the understanding of Best Practice in Rail Construction projects
