**About the role**
As the Operations Manager you are responsible for managing and leading all branch operations for CARTERS Papakura. Supporting the branch manager, you will drive continuous improvement while managing and supporting the team to maximise efficiencies in distribution, sales and service levels.
Your role is all about maintaining customer loyalty and ensuring CARTERS is the preferred supplier of building materials for our trade customers.
With your experience in process implementation and improvement you will ensure the smooth operations of the timber yard and deliveries, ensuring stock maintenance, order pulling, customer service and internal sales support service levels are maintained to a high level.

**Skills & Experience**
As well as having a high level of energy and proactive attitude you will also possess the following qualities:

- Leadership experience with an ability to motivate a team through a postive team culture
- Branch operations/logistics/distribution experience desirable
- Strong ability to identify and problem solve root causes to issues
- Building industry knowledge would be a bonus
- Eye for detail coupled with excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of computer systems & basic operating skills
- F-Endorsement, fork hoist experience would be a bonus not essential
