The Technical Counter Surveillance Unit (TCU) is at the heart of New Zealand's specialist security capabilities, and we work every day to protect New Zealand and its interests.
About the role
As Team Lead Operations, you will be responsible for leading, developing and managing the team that coordinates and plans accreditation inspections of NZ Government Sensitive Compartmented Information facilities (SCIF). You will also lead the research and development team that tests and builds specialist tools and capabilities to meet current and evolving threats.
Working in a cross-functional team environment, you'll work collaboratively with the Field Inspection and Accreditation teams to ensure the effective deployment of resources in support of TCU operations.
This role offers broad responsibility and a high degree of engagement with stakeholders across the sector. You will also contribute to senior management decision-making within the NCSC and the wider GCSB.
